Argus Cyber Security Ltd. is a privately-held Israeli company founded in 2013. The company’s solutions focus on various solution aspects, such as detecting unauthorized access in real-time, securing remote connectivity, reporting irregularities, and keeping up with new threats as they emerge.
ARGUS INTRUSION PREVENTION SYSTEM (IDPS)
Argus Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) uses Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) algorithms to detect hacking attempts and prevents them from affecting a vehicle’s critical systems. The company claims that it can be easily integrated in existing production lines and no architecture changes are required. Argus’s IDPS also notifies OEMs in real-time and enables seamless integration into any vehicle’s production line. It also generates reports and alerts for remote monitoring of a vehicle’s cyber health. Finally, it can also protect Telematics Service Providers offering Smart Driving Assistance, Remote Diagnostics systems and UBI solutions by integrating it into OBD-II service dongles.
CYBER SECURITY VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENTS FOR CARMAKERS
Additionally, the company has a cyber-consulting service for carmakers to use to detect threats and find vulnerabilities in the network elements of existing and future vehicle models. These services include architecture and design review and penetration testing for current and future models.
